Sigachi: Designing a Global Authority Homepage for a Leading Pharmaceutical Excipients Manufacturer
INTRO
The Sigachi project focuses on the User Interface (UI) design of the corporate homepage for a major global manufacturer of Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) and other Pharma Excipients, Nutra, and Food Ingredients. The website’s purpose is to immediately establish Sigachi’s position as an industry leader, highlighting its massive global manufacturing capacity, supply chain reliability, and extensive list of international certifications (EXCiPACT, HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, etc.). The homepage must serve as the authoritative gateway for global B2B clients, investors, and partners.
CONCEPT
The core concept for the Sigachi homepage is "Global Scale and Certified Reliability." The design must visually communicate the company's vast operational footprint and its absolute commitment to regulatory quality. The concept dictates a structured, corporate, and high-trust aesthetic that uses visual language (e.g., world maps, factory imagery, prominent certification logos) to quickly reassure B2B customers of supply security and compliance. The overall feeling should be one of unwavering professionalism and industrial leadership.
CHALLENGE
The primary goals of this project are to design a high-impact, professional homepage that instantly establishes Sigachi's authority as a global leader in MCC manufacturing. A key objective is to clearly and credibly showcase the extensive regulatory certifications and global reach of the company, which is vital for B2B client confidence. Ultimately, the design must encourage potential clients to explore manufacturing capabilities, product offerings, and corporate sustainability information with ease.
GOAL
The main challenge lies in translating complex industrial and technical information (like pharmaceutical excipients and numerous regulatory certifications) into a visually engaging and easily digestible corporate narrative on a single homepage. Specific hurdles include prominently featuring the many certification logos without causing visual clutter; designing an effective way to communicate "global scale" and "supply chain reliability" visually; and ensuring the design appeals equally to pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food industry decision-makers, all while maintaining an undisputed level of corporate professionalism.
TARGET USER AESTHETICS
The target user aesthetic for the Sigachi homepage is Industrial Authority and Corporate Trust. The visual design must be structured, premium, and highly professional, appealing to B2B decision-makers (procurement managers, quality assurance heads, business development executives). This aesthetic is characterized by a strong grid layout, use of professional, high-quality industrial imagery, and a formal color palette (often utilizing deep blues, clean whites, and strong metallic accents). The overall look must convey stability, large-scale capacity, and uncompromising regulatory compliance.
